Symbols of Self

Brief
Symbols of Self is a book documenting a journey of experimentation and contemplation that explores alternative modes of making meaning. It is an exploration of contemporaneity through multiple lenses. It is an assertion of personal identity through design. Part time capsule and part manifesto, it aspires to serve as a foundational roadmap for the future — a guide for making and being.

A hand bound book containing spreads that question, imagine, theorize and investigate.

Oberima Afriyie

Brief
To communicate the ethereal and spiritual through typography for Okomfo — the inagural film of the newly arriving fashion house, Oberima Afriyie — showing at Neue House in New York City.

Deliverables
A bespoke set of scene plates which were cut into the film in between acts, and a digital poster promoting the film.

The Canvas

Brief
To conceptualize and design spreads for The Canvas an art newspaper, chronicling developments in the art world.

To conceptualize and design a brand identity for hub, a messaging and collaborative platform for creatives in the digital age.

To develop a simple yet versatile new identity for the Ridge, a cafe offering primarily loose teas, spices as well as coffee to college students and local adventurers in the beautiful Hudson Valley town of New Paltz, NY.
